Conventional police forces consist of constables (normal blue collar type Bobbies), and the nano-enhanced Inspectres who use built-in modifications to handle serious crimes.
===== Science Police =====

A militarized agency tasked with the detection, detention and destruction of illegal science. This include banned genetic experiments, [[rpg:nano-victorian_future:demons|the nano-plague infected]], and [[rpg:nano-victorian_future:ai|Artificial Intelligence]]].

The Science Police have access to advanced technology to assist them in their tasks, and broad leeway in cases where illegal science is suspected.

Military Intelligence are The Empire of America's secret police. Their purview is internal and external spying, the suppression of dissent and generally being scary fascist pricks.
