====== The Black Blood ====== The Black Blood is the nickname given to a government agency charged with monitoring, controlling and recruiting the Blood. They are also known as "The Feds", "The MiBs", and "The Suits". Security clearance for the name, members or purpose of the Black Blood is several levels above the President of the United States. Among the Blood, operatives working with the government are referred to as the Black Blood, and their human handlers as the Men in Black. They are officially known as the Parahuman Management Agency. The Black Blood have access to significant financial and military resources, but they are a relatively new player in the Blood wars. Among this faction, the humans are solidly in charge, with its Blood operatives kept on a very short leash. The Black Blood's human operatives generally dress in severe black suits, sunglasses and earpieces. The Blood agents are required to wear black coveralls equipped with GPS locators whenever they leave the government compound. In the eyes of the government, the Blood are seen as a valuable but dangerous resource. The Black Blood agency is an attempt to see if they can be harnessed as soldiers for the government. If this experiment fails, the men behind the Black Blood agency may decide that the Blood are too dangerous to be allowed to live. Working for the Black Blood means being kept on a short leash. It means having a handler in a black suit and shades whose first name is "Agent". It means serving your country, and not asking too many questions about what your country asks you to do. It means being legit, and having the force of an entire nation behind you. It means making the Blood safe for the world, and vice versa. It means having Proper Documentation, and not having to worry about "getting caught" when interacting with the law. It means a badge that opens doors in Quantico. It means wearing a tracker any time you leave a government facility. It means knowing that if you try to leave, there's a man in a black suit with a sniper rifle waiting to do your exit interview.
