Powers

Blood Shadow uses the standard powers from the DRPG. Setting specific notes are below. Additional powers not detailed in the DRPG are also possible.

Pattern

While the Blood are technically of Amber blood, none of them have ever walked the Pattern or visited Amber. This power is not available to PCs.

Logrus

Much like Pattern, PCs have no access to the Courts of Chaos or the Logrus.

Trump

Trump is extremely rare, but available. As none of the Blood have been to other Shadows, PCs can only create trumps of people and places on the Blood Shadow.

Shape-shifting

Fully available as per DRPG.

Power Words

Fully available as per DRPG.

Sorcery

Fully available as per DRPG. With a caveat - the Blood Shadow setting uses a strict interpretation of the DRPG Sorcery rules. Note that spells can be hung on a powered item, but the rules for items that can be used as spell-hangers states that only PCs with Conjuration can own them. This means that an effective Sorceror really needs Conjuration as well as Sorcery, so zie can have a spell-hanger.

Conjuration

Fully available as per DRPG.

Other

Other powers are welcome, pending prior negotiation with the GM. Telepathy, Telekinesis, etc. are all possible. Non-Amber DRPG powers will be handled on a case by case basis, and evaluated against Sorcery for usefulness to determine the cost.
