To use this sheet, open it up in Excel. Macros have to be turned on, or it won't work. Most of the character pages have a data file for timpani to use. To load one, grab the file (say, oruk.xls) and save it locally. Rename the file so that the extension is txt instead of xls.

In Timpani, go to the “Controls” tab, and click “Import Character from Text”. Pick your data file. Your character should now be loaded.

When inputting data, don't type anything in a white box - only the yellow boxes are for input. Char Sheet 1 will show most of the info you want, but nothing is entered here. The Mods and Level tabs are where most of the input is done.

If you have a nonstandard character, you can do some customization to the character sheet, entering in prestige classes or new skills/weapons/etc. To do this, go back to the Control tab and turn on “Show All Sheets” to reveal the tabs with game data on them.
