Items are built using the standard Amber rules.  Keep in mind, though, the strict interpretation mentioned under [[Powers#Sorcery]].  Also, no items that allow Shadow Movement are permitted.  Try to keep item/creatures "in-genre", but I'm willing to be convinced if you can come up with an explanation that fits the world.
